Slaves to Saronite (250 Rep.) – Starts on your faction’s airship in Icecrown. Talk with: Absalan the Pious for the Alliance or Brother Keltan for the Horde. Go to the Saronite Mines (57, 57) in the middle of Ymirheim. Talk to the Mine Slaves. They will either fight you, run away, or be rescued. You need to free 10 of them. Go back to your airship to turn in the quest and then it’s off to see Commander Kunz (40, 67) at the Argent Stand in Zul’Drak.

Note: To gain access to Slaves to Saronite you must complete all of the quests offered in The Argent Vanguard area of Icecrown. They begin at Highlord Tirion Fordring (87, 75) with Honor Above All Else and continue until you complete The Crusaders’ Pinnacle. After this quest, the area where you just had the big battle opens into a visible camp with quest npc’s, merchants, and a FP. Inside the tower, on the main floor laying in bed is Marshal Ivalius (79, 72) with the quest The Skybreaker. This leads you to your factions airship and will open up the daily.

Troll Patrol & Congratulations! (350 & 500 Rep.) – After accepting the quest Troll Patrol you will be given a 20 minute buff. If you complete all four tasks in less than 20 minutes you will have access to an additional quest, Congratulations!, giving you a random item and 500 Rep.

Note: There are 2 quests, Defend the Stand & Parachutes for the Argent Crusade, given by Commander Falstaav (Argent Stand courtyard) that you must complete before you can pick up Troll Patrol. Also, you can be in a group when doing the tasks but you must complete them individually.

Alchemist Finklestein’s Task (35, 52)

The Alchemist’s Apprentice – His task is pretty simple. You are to help him create a potion by collecting 6 items. You will find all of them in the rooms on your right and/or left.

The Captains Tasks in Zul’Drak

The Captains have three different sets of quests. The number in the parentheses indicates which set each quest belongs in. Each day you will randomly receive 1 of the 3 sets to complete for the daily; requiring you to complete 1 task from each Captain each day.

Captain Brandon’s Tasks (49, 79)

High Standards (1) – Use the Argent Crusade Banner given you on the 3 Drakkari Pedestals. (North, East, & South. All East somewhat from the Captain).
Something for the Pain (2) – Collect 5 Mature Water-Poppy. They are in the water to the west.
Can You Dig It? (3) – Search for Ancient Dirt Mounds and use your Steel Spade to investigate 5 of them. Some mounds will spawn mobs and some will spawn boxes with random stuff inside.

Captain Rupert’s Tasks (58, 72)

Intestinal Fortitude (1) – Find 5 Crusade Recruits and talk to them to restore their courage!
Done to Death (2) – Go North West to the spider area and look for Argent Footman Corpses. You need to burn 5 of them with your Incinerating Oil.
Throwing Down (3) – Use your High Impact Grenades near 5 Nethurbian Craters. They look like a spider tunnel entrance on the ground.

Captain Grongel’s Tasks (48, 64)

Whatdya Want, a Medal? (1) – Search the area for Drakkari Corpses. (Lots in the water). Loot them to retrieve their Medallions. You will need 7 to complete the quest.
Creature Comforts (2) – Look around the pond for Dead Thornwood and loot 20 of them. You will loot anywhere from 1 to 3 at a time.
Couldn’t Care Less (3) – Kill 7 Mossy Rampages. They are dark reddish-brown in color and roaming around.

Finally, hurry back to the Argent Stand. If you made it in less than 20 minutes when you completed Troll Patrol you will gain access to an additional quest, Congratulations!. Accept it and complete for more Rep. and a chance to get an awesome trinket Deputy Pa’trolla Badge. The whole chain should take you 10-15 minutes.

Total = 45 gold and 850 Rep. for 10-20 minutes of questing.
