The Eternal Belt Buckle is made by Blacksmiths with a skill level of 415 or higher. It’s learned from any of the Grand Master Blacksmithing Trainers throughout Northrend.

Basically the buckle ads a Prismatic Gem Socket (can be filled with any gem color except meta) to any belt with an item level of 60+. It will add a second gem socket to any belt that already has one. But will not stack with any other belt enchants (ie: other buckles or engineering items like the Personal Electromagnetic Pulse Generator).

Example:
I have the Hateful Gladiator’s Cord of Dominance on Kimico which comes with a blue socket. I fill the blue socket with Mysterious Twilight Opal to get my +5 Spell Power socket bonus. Then I equip an Eternal Belt Buckle to get another socket and I can fill it with any color gem I want (I chose the Runed Scarlet Ruby). This second slot does not help or hinder my efforts to get my socket bonus. It does, however count as a gem color toward the Meta Gem I have in my head slot.

The Eternal Belt Buckle is not terribly expensive to make. It takes Eternal Earth x1, Eternal Water x1, Eternal Shadowx1, and Saronite Bar x4 so if you have a guildie who is a Blacksmith you can easily have them make a couple for you to bank. If not, they are currently selling between 55g and 95g on our server. I think it’s very much worth the money to have the extra stats.
