Well it’s that time of year again, Hallow’s End. This year we were very excited to try the Headless Horseman event. We looked up the event on WoWWiki and decided to give it a shot. The Headless Horseman is a 70 Elite so we figured he’d be pretty tough but figured he couldn’t be a whole lot more difficult than some of the bosses in the Outland dungeons.

The Headless Horseman spawns in the Graveyard section in the Scarlet Monastery. Each player can only spawn him once per day, you spawn him by clicking on the big pumpkin, accepting the quest then clicking on the dirt pile behind the pumpkin. So, we figured we’d have a good 5 chances to kill him. We wiped the first time and killed him easily the other 4 tries. He is a pretty straight forward tank and spank fight. Beat down the Horseman, then the Head, then the Horseman, then the Head, then the Horseman, and with the final kill of the Head the event is over.

The loot ranges from candy that makes you run fast (if you eat too much you get a sick stomach/poisoned) to brooms that you can ride around to purple armor and rings. If the Horseman’s Helm drops, I’m sure that Sokka will go the rounds to decide who gets it, hope I have my lucky dice on me.
