As the Paladin in our group my main dungeon run job so far has consisted of off tank, off heal. I have been using a rounded build (18/25/18) to help fit this role. But as our group has been running harder and harder dungeons, we’ve all been tweaking our builds a bit. I decided to try a Retribution build (8/8/45) to see if i could raise my DPS, sort of be off damage along with the off tank (so much for off heal).

I haven’t had the chance to really test my new build yet. I don’t solo much. When I quest it’s usually with our Warrior, Shazuku. Though according to my damage meter, I am giving her a good challenge to stay ahead of me.

We ran Mana-Tombs once and my damage did seem to be higher, but we don’t usually have much trouble in there anyway. In fact it’s sort of become our warm up run to remember how to play as a group after a week of soloing.

We are planning on running something harder soon so I’ll report back when I’ve given the build a good test.

Update: Shadow Labyrinth Run.

We did our first run of Shadow Labyrinth see our first run for more information. As the Damage Meter goes I usually sit 3rd right around 11%-15% damage for the group. With my new retribution build I am sitting right at 18% but I was as high as 21% and at one point I almost took the 2nd place. Our Rogue who always sits at a strong 2nd said last night he was a little off. When we run again I will update this post.
