The Horseman's Helm

I had to run the Hallow’s End Headless Horseman event 18 times (with the guild and PuG’s) but the Horseman’s Helm finally dropped, and I was lucky enough to win the roll. WoWWiki says the Helm is for DPS gear:

The Horseman’s Helm is an Epic plate helm for DPS plate-wearers. Right-clicking on the helm causes the wearer to throw back his head and laugh in the Horseman’s voice (30 second cooldown).

It’s an improvement over the Felsteel Helm that I’ve been wearing while tanking and the Myrmidon’s Headdress that I’ve been using with my DPS gear. I give up a little armor and defense rating but gain stamina and strength, and that’s before I socket it.

Plus it looks really cool, and after all, isn’t that really the most important thing? :P

    Well, the Hallow’s End event came to a close late last night. I for one had a great time beating on that silly horseman and his detachable head. Great job every one! I think we have that fight down. Congrats to Shazuku for getting the plate helm. More tries then I can remember and still no hat for Sokka (that’s not made of cloth .. hehe). We all got more brooms then you can buy from Wal-Mart and with any luck that “14-Day” timer will never start ticking.
