WOW 2.3 Patch Add On Updates Posted in ,

The new WoW 2.3.0 patch is finally here. There has been a lot of talk about this patch and a lot of complaining. It looks like Blizzard is leveling the playing field across all classes. Making a lot of changes to all classes. Make sure you read the patch notes to see the major changes to your class.

Some of the news from the 2.3.0 patch is:
  • New 10 man raid dungeon called Zul’Aman. Zul’Aman is a 10-player, level 70 outdoor instance located in the Ghostlands. Players will be able to confront six new bosses.
  • Guild Banks Introduced.
  • Dustwallow Marsh, has over 50 new quests and a new neutral goblin town called Mudsprocket.
  • Leveling Improvements for the 20-60 group. This means faster leveling in these levels.
  • A new flight path has been added to the Rebel Camp in northern Stranglethorn Vale. Its about time!
  • The Requirement for Heroic Keys has been lowered to Honored.
  • Auction house time periods have been increased to 48hours
  • You can now send up to 12 items in a single mail message.
  • As always you can find out about the latest 2.3.0 patch notes!
Farming Motes News:
  • Gas clouds in Nagrand now produce motes of air.
  • Gas clouds in Zangarmarsh now produce motes of water.
WoW 2.3 Addons:

The following list is the addons we as a guild use. Looks like most addons are loading just fine without much issues. I will try to keep this updates as I find out more information.

I have been testing a new threat meter called Omen Threat Meter, I have not been happy with KLHThreatMeter especially since it is now off the screen on all my characters. Omen is compatible with KLH, and the thing I like most of all is that Omen displays threat on a single mob not the fight like KLH does.

Gatherers New Database

Wow, I cannot believe all the nodes in the game. I cannot see my maps. If you want to see all the nodes in the game I recommend downloading the gatherer-db. It’s on the same page as the gatherer link.

    Omen will also alert-via sound and/or message-you when you are close to passing the tank threat wise, and lets me-the tank-know when that happens. Also, what ever mob you are currently fighting will show up on the meter, instead of rating the whole fight like KTM It is compatible with KTM, so those in the group who are lucky enough for their KTM to still work will be able to see you on their meter and visa versa. Sokka and I only started playing with it over the weekend, but I am quite happy with it so far.

    Well the new 2.3 patch created lots of headache’s last night. We were running our first heroic dungeon and crashed the server I couldn’t get my main out until this morning.

    Auctioneer has been updated again as of this morning. (11/15) Hopefully the bug that makes it so you can’t put items in the AH (that a few of us were having)will be fixed.
