Becoming a Better Healer
Oh what you can learn from your damage meter as a healer if you know what you’re looking for…
Retribution Paladin Build 3.0.9 patch
One thing I can say with Blizzard is they sure know how to keep us on our toes. When 3.0 patch came out I thoroughly read every patch note there was but it didn’t give me an idea that the class changed that much. It wasn’t until after I had played a while that I realized that I had to get rid of every hot key and every talent and re-learn how to play. Then I started understanding these changes. Looks like I may have to do the same thing when the 3.1 patch comes out.
Ritual of Summoning
In the old days each summon took one soul shard and you could only summon one player at a time. I imagine this made summoning absent raid member very tedious and costly to the warlock who only has so many soul shards to go around…
Eternal Belt Buckle
Basically the buckle ads a Prismatic Gem Socket (can be filled with any gem color except meta) to any belt with an item level of 60+. It will add a second gem socket to any belt that already has one. But will not stack with any other belt enchants (ie: other buckles or engineering items like the Personal Electromagnetic Pulse Generator).
Tabard
It’s not your imagination. Everyone IS wearing the same pink Tabard. And it’s not because it just looks so cool.
Happy Christmas
May this season of giving bring the happiest of moments and the warmest of memories to keep in your heart all year long.
Wrath of the Litch King
Wrath of the Litch King has been out for just over a month now so I thought I’d post some of the things we’ve been up to.
Midsummer Fire Festival
The Midsummer Fire Festival is here again. This year the Festival runs from June 21 – July 4, and has several new events/quests.
Eye of the Storm
Eye of the Storm is sort of a combination of Warsong Gulch and Arathi Basin. Each team tries to control as many of the 4 towers as they can, the more towers you have the faster your points amass. There is also 1 flag in the middle. You score additional points by capturing the flag inside one of the towers controlled by your team. The points awarded per flag capture depend on how many towers your team controls. The first team to 2000 points wins.
Alterac Valley
Alterac Valley is a very large Battleground. There are several graveyards, keeps/garrisons, bunkers, outposts, towers, and sentry posts to attack and gain control of. You win by reducing the opposing team’s reinforcements to zero. You do this by killing enemy players, capturing towers/bunkers, and killing captains. The fastest way to win is to kill the enemy general, this immediately ends the round.
